Testimonials for American Agri-Diesel
Mr. Page Rothgeb with Rothgeb Trucking:
"I am getting at least 1 to 1.5 gallons more, and truck does not smoke like it used to. It has a whole lot more power. When you step on it, it has a lot more pep than it used to."
Mike Leonard:
"When we switched to American Agri-Diesel we are getting 2 to 2.5 miles per gallon more with the biodiesel than the regular diesel. I think it is the greatest thing ever! I am running it in all 3 of my trucks. They run better and pull better on American Agri-Diesel."
Don Esarey,
Cheyenne County Road and Bridge: “We ran some American Agri-Diesel in our snow removal equipment clearing the snow from the 2 blizzards and did not have a problem. On the coldest day of the winter so far, the equipment running American Agri-Diesel preformed flawlessly, while the equipment running brand X regular diesel gelled up. We were not even able to pump the regular diesel from the bulk tanks or from our pickup tanks to fill equipment. When you have people depending on you for a service, you can’t afford problems with your fuel. We are switching to American Agri-Diesel for all of our fuel.”
From Kevin Domsch,
Owner KC Pumping Service: “We have been running American Agri-Diesel in all of our trucks and equipment for a few months now and have had no problems. Our snow removal equipment has been plowing snow for the past few weeks clearing out the drifts from the 2 blizzards to gain access to the many remote oil wells in the area for service. It is nice to know we are running a renewable fuel in our oilfield business.”
Steve Scott
Burlington, Colorado: “I have been running American Agri-Diesel in all of my farm equipment for several months now with no problems at all. I believe all farmers should run Agri-Diesel in their operations.”
Donn Witzel, Owner l Donn Witze Construction: “We switched to American Agri-Diesel in December in our construction and snow removal equipment and have had no problems at all. Our equipment has been plowing snow from the 2 blizzards in temperatures down to 0F and we have noticed no difference in performance at all.”
From Joel Dwire of Dwire Earthmoving & Excavating: "We have been running American Agri-Diesel B-20 in our entire fleet of 70+ machines since October of 2006 with great success. We didn't notify any of the equipment operators that we had switched to this fuel because we wanted to see if anyone noticed a performance loss. So far, none of the operators have reported any noticable change in performance. We have operated in temperatures down to -5 degrees Farenheit with no problem. "
Industry News
John Deere Co: The United Soybean Board and soybean checkoff presented John Deere Co with an Outstanding Achievement Award at the Commodity Classic's American Soybean Association Awards Banquet on March 6. John Deere's B2 biodiesel factory-fill program puts B2 in John Deere's diesel-powered, self-propelled machines made in the United States. The program used more than 1 million gallons of biodiesel in its first year.
Case IH upped the ante on biodiesel use in its equipment Thursday. The Wisconsin-based agriculture equipment manufacturer approved the use of B20 in most of its engines. Case already warrants the use of B5 in all of its engines.
The company also said it was conducting field tests to determine the performance levels of higher biodiesel blends, including B100. In addition, Case said when approved supplies are available, every engine powering Case IH equipment globally will be factory-filled with biodiesel blends.
DaimlerChrysler: The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) welcomed DaimlerChrysler's decision to approve the use of B20 in its Dodge Ram pickup trucks for government, military and commercial fleet customers. Use of B20 in fleets is approved for the 2007 model for Dodge Ram pickups equipped with Cummins diesel engines.
Chrysler Group President and CEO Tom LaSorda touted the benefits of biodiesel during his remarks at the Economic Club of Detroit's meeting Jan.
23. "Biofuels represent a huge opportunity to reduce fuel consumption and our dependence on foreign oil, while also offering a significant environmental benefit," LaSorda said. "Biodiesel is proof that at least part of the solution to these national challenges can be homegrown."
Chrysler Group initiated a factory fill of B5 fuel in the Jeep Liberty CRD diesel SUV starting with the 2005 model year. Every vehicle is fueled with
B5 at the assembly plant in Toledo, Ohio.
DaimlerChrysler is working with the NBB and others to develop a consistent, universally applied American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) quality standard specifically for B20 that would allow them to recommend the blend to all owners of Dodge Ram diesels. The B20 must also meet U.S.
military specifications, which include using the blend within six months.
DaimlerChrysler & Arctic Cat: Automaker DaimlerChrysler and off-road vehicle manufacturer Arctic Cat have recently announced plans that support the use of biodiesel blends.
Earlier today DaimlerChrysler announced plans to factory-fill B5 biodiesel in two of the company's 2007 model lines. Every 2007 Dodge Ram diesel pickup truck at DaimlerChrysler's Fenton, Mo., assembly plant will be factory-filled with B5. In early 2007 the company will launch the Jeep Grand Cherokee common rail diesel with a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, which will also be factory-filled with B5.
The company has also approved the use of B20 in vehicles for commercial, government and military fleets. For this program, vehicles will require a supplemental fuel filter and must be used with fuel meeting the military's quality requirements.
Case New Holland (CNH) Global N.V. announced April 3 that its leading agricultural and construction equipment brands fully support the use of
B5
blends in all engines it manufactures. In addition, use of B20 is within consideration.
The statement covers Case IH and New Holland agricultural equipment, andCase and New Holland construction equipment brands.
CNH said B5 blends must meet the requirements of U.S. standard ASTM D
6751
on the base biodiesel stock, or European standard EN14214. When using B20, certain handling and maintenance requirements come into play, and customers are advised to speak with their dealers on specific issues.
"The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) has been working with CNH on biodiesel support, and we see its announcement as an encouraging step for increased biodiesel usage in CNH equipment," said Darryl Brinkmann, chairman of the NBB and a soybean grower from Carlyle, Ill. "Farmers are important customers to companies like CNH, and we believe that farm equipment manufacturers should be leaders in promoting biodiesel use. The NBB is committed to working with CNH to achieve full support for B20, and we are pleased that they are heading in that direction."
CNH officials said they are committed to working with partners to push toward higher-level biodiesel that will be a compatible fuel source in future low-emissions-compliant engines. CNH has initiated aggressive field tests to evaluate the performance with 100 percent biodiesel.
